Which BPA Free Bottles Should You Buy for Your Baby?

That's why I decided to put all of my research efforts into one page, featuring well reviewed bpa free baby bottles and bottle sets. First off, you might want to know what BPA is. BPA is Bisphenol A, an organic compound found in many plastics. Most baby bottles are now BPA free, but not all of them. Over the years, glass has become less and less popular. Glass can break, and manufacturers wanted to reduce breakages during shipping, while making a product that customers would be happy with because it didn't break. The problem with having unbreakable plastics for food containers is that they often contain BPA, the compound that makes the plastic so durable and shatterproof. According to this article, enough BPA is produced in America for six pounds per person! Animal studies have even linked BPA to breast cancer and reproductive organ probelms (failure to get pregnant, failure to get women pregnant), cardiovascular disease, and a list of health problems that are quite concerning. While it may not be government mandated for products to be BPA free yet, we can still make our own decisions based on the scientific testing. It certainly can't hurt to avoid BPA (I haven't seen any articles written on the health benefits of BPA!). After some careful research, I've found many different baby bottles that are BPA free, and even some glass baby bottles that have received excellent reviews. It sounds simple enough, but the wrong bottle can prolong the symptoms of colic in some cases. Getting a bottle with proper venting and one with a nipple is something you might want to try out if you're having a problem with colic. Most of these bottles are also dishwasher safe, and can be easily sanitized. Buying your bottles in sets can also save some money compared to buying individually. I am hoping I don't need to buy baby bottles anytime soon. After a daughter and twin sons I think my wife and I are over that for now.
Good information. I find it amazing someone would produce 6 pounds of this stuff just for me.
We really do have to keep informed about potential risks and make our own decisions, the government isn't exactly a step ahead on such things. Good info.
